We are not just Linux users. We write code for it.
When no driver exists for a device, we write one. There was no Linux driver for the OmniVision OV32C4 camera sensor — ours was written from the sensor register tables and is currently under review for inclusion in the Linux kernel. Alongside it, nineteen patches for the libcamera library and a tuning file measured on the camera itself. An audio routing bug on the same device we reported to the kernel bugzilla, worked on the diagnosis with a Realtek developer and verified the fix that is going into the kernel. All under the GPL, in the open and verifiable.
